Mojo bars are always a bit of an institution in the cities they haunt... we’re still waiting for a London joint to open (come on guys, you even have one in Barbados!). Needless to say they did not disappoint when we hit the Leeds edition on our visit. Some banging tunes (they have their own radio station too… obviously), serious drinks and a party atmosphere, those three are always present without fail and ask anyone what else makes Mojo great and we bet you they mention the staff.

These guys know how to party! This place gets rammed so if you can’t stand the heat then get out, but we say get over it and get involved. Mojo Leeds has got something a little special up its sleeve though, on Thursday – Saturday you can check out the impressive “Rhum Room” upstairs, with a completely different vibe, this hang out is more low key and bluesy. With old school framed posters like an “enjoy cocaine” spoof of a Coca Cola advertisement and a whole wall of black and white framed stills of famous rock stars like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, this place is seriously cool. With over 100 rums on offer you better get cracking, plus the menu up here changes each week to always keep you guessing, with each bartender taking it in turns to take over the bar.

This place has been rocking it for 16 years, and we suspect they won't be slowing down anytime soon. Mojo, we salute you!
