As the name suggests you’re going to be heading underground to check this baby out. The bar is at one end and there is a stage at the other, when BarChick was here they were gearing up for a birthday party and a brass band were set to play. Other nights you might be lucky to catch one of their regulars, Corrine Bailey Rae, doing her thang. 

Take a seat at the bar and admire all its tulip, fairy light glory. The bottles are housed in oversized fairy wheels and when BarChick was picking they still had their Christmas drinks list on the menu… laid back and we love it. Get stuck into their old school collection of board games and order in some pizza – they serve everyday until midnight so if you’ve peaked too early this place is where to come for some sobering up grub. They have a good cocktail menu but their bottle beer selection is big, and after a long night of spirits it sorted us right out.

The staff in here are cool and with all that jazz and blues vibe we got comfy, stuffed our faces with pizza and left late.
