As you enter you’ll be greeted by a wall of art paying homage to the John Carpenter movie, Big trouble in Little China, alongside one of the coolest floors you’ll ever find – just don’t drop your change! The vibe is chilled from the bustling bar area at the entrance, to the 50 seater restaurant upstairs, and the music is a mixture of everything from disco and funk to old school rock and roll (if you’ve ever danced away the night in Salt Dog’s next door you’ll know the drill). At heart it’s a BBQ and smokehouse specialising in ‘low n slow’ smoked meats, but there’s a lot more to this small but perfectly formed food joint. The cocktails are badass, get your lips around a Lucky Strike or a Gasoline Sweet Tea and get the party started. Serving food from 12-12, with the bar going on much later some nights there’s something for everyone from brunch through to dinner. Get chopping!
