With one of the largest collections of magnums in London, we're pretty impressed this basement champagne bar has managed to remain a secret for this long. Once the wine cellars of our future king, the space is now a stunning drinking den, reinvented by Searcys.
Make your way through the Grade I-listed facade and past the original iron gate doors to reach the converted cellar. Vaulted ceilings? Check. Exposed brickwork? Uh-huh. Plush navy-blue seating and long wood-topped bar? Yup and yup. Alongside a private dining room, there are enough seats for up to 50 fizz fans to sip away an evening. You'll find BarChick on the signature Searcys 1847 champagne cocktails, a blend of Searcys Selected Cuvée Champagne with Grand Marnier, peach schnapps and vodka, but whatever your plonk of choice, they've got it all alongside that rock-star list of magnums from the likes of Moët et Chandon, Drappier, and Dom Pérignon.
