Who can resist the pull of epic street food vedors, vibey bars and enough communal seating to host the biggest end-of-restrictions reunion ever? Not us. Looks like our willpower will be taking us to Shoreditch in July, then, for the opening of this new multi-level beacon of sick drinks, banging food and good times.
Open daily from midday to an ambiguous "late", LALALAND is a killer new development rising from the ashes of where Dinerama used to reign supreme that has set the owners back a cool million quid. So what does all that cash get ya? A slick new space to leave the noise and grime of the city behind you. Yeah, that might sound like the strapline to a bouji spa, and the abundance of lush vegetation that breaks out into a dazzling courtyard complete with a sparkling plunge pool (we guess for aesthetics rather than body submerging, but we'll keep our fingers crossed), tumbling waterfalls and living walls bursting with colour sure makes it sound like one. But how many spas have you been to where firepits glow as the sun sets, DJs provide a chill soundtrack and light scatters from disco balls? We bet none, so this is gonna be the fly new place we hit when indulging in bad-ass street food is how we wanna relax.
LALALAND will open in July
