It's a food hall, but not as you know it. Bookings are almost essential. There's a DJ on deck. Queue who? Arcade is all about table service. And with a bunch of bangin' kitchens under one roof, you'll be glad you don't have to wait in as many lines to try a little something from each one. 

Set in the Centre Point building near Tottenham Court Road, Arcade Food Hall is the glorious creation of JKS Restaurants, the folks behind Gymkhana, Brigadiers, Hoppers, Sabor and other darlings of the London restaurant scene. This industrial-chic setting is home to nine - yes, NINE - different restaurants: Provisions, a deli; North Indian restaurant Hero; Tipan Tapan, which serves up Nepali street food; Manna, a spot for burgers and fried chicken; Shatta & Toum, a shawarma shop; Indian street food-focused Bebek! Bebek!; Sushi Kamon (the hint's in the name); Plaza Khao Geng, with southern Thai cuisine; and Jelladrome, for ice cream and jellies (and jelly shots!). 

There's a lot going on. If you're the kinda person who has to spend a minimum of 45 minutes scrolling through Deliveroo before you can decide on a takeaway, the massive menu here might give you some low-level anxiety - but you really can't go wrong. On our visit, we sampled dishes from roughly half the restos. Everything we tried was consistently awesome; the pao buns from Hero and chicken momos from Tipan Tapan deserve special shoutouts. 

And the drinks? Yeah, they're just as on point. The Piquillo Pepper Paloma is a thing of beauty, there's a whole list of different types of Negronis and G&Ts, and you'll find some thoughtful non-alc options, too - not to mention beers and wines, if that's more your thing. 

Our rec? Come with a bunch of mates for Arcade's excellent happy hour, which lasts from 4-6pm Tuesday-Friday. Cocktails are £6, wines and beers are £4, and the kitchens are cooking in full force. Order as much as food possible, and then add a few more momos to the list, just to be safe.
