Bedales of Borough isn’t messing around when it comes to wine. An entire wall is dedicated to floor-to-ceiling racks of bottles, with one of those moving ladders you’d expect in the library of a country manor where the rich owner has just been found murdered. Candlesticks stuck into empties create a bohemian vibe. Wine specials are scrawled on little blackboards. There’s a tasting room in the basement. Well, what do you expect from a bar that’s been pouring vino for its guests for over a decade now? 

It’s not all about wine though - this is just as epic a place to dine. The interior is just on the right side of wine-bar-meets-restaurant. The distressed walls and floor are more industrial chic than shoddy. Cool quirks like the spiral staircase and window-ledge dining add unique character. There's an awesome terrace looking out over the market. Plus all that wine can’t help make it a sexy spot for a meal. Pretend you’re on holiday and order chargrilled prawn and octopus skewers and wild boar and manchego charcuterie, washed down with chilled red wine (trust us). Or push your booze boundaries and go for orange wine alongside a killer cheese board. Whether wining, dining or combining the two, Bedales of Borough has been bringing the good times for more than 10 years.
