Located right on Portobello Market and looking like it came straight outta Kingston – you won’t miss it with the big bright green / yellow / red sign knocking about. It started as a little pop-up on the main man Josh’s rooftop in 2012, friends only (and BarChick of course) enjoyed those puppies just for a quid! They were so good that it continued on to another cheeky pop-up in Hoxton and now we’ve got the real ting! The Boom ting!

Cruise in and you’ll see Sunny shaking up some Rum Punches, be sure to kick off with one of those. BarChick had two and then got stuck into a frozen lime Daiquiri and a frozen Pina Colada. Say yes to brain freeze. Hungry? Good. It’s all about the signature Boom Burger with its juicy beef burger covered in cheese and bacon jam - POW! The jerk chicken burger is not to be missed either with its fried plantain, rocket, mango and pawpaw sauce – it’s pretty badass, as is the Pork Boom with pork belly and a hunk of fried pineapple.

Every ting is irie at Boom Burger; even the loos are covered with chalkboard so you can keep yourself busy as you pee. Come down over the weekend when the reggae and dub tunes are banging - Carnival just came early.
