You’ll find this jazz inspired wine and food bar on the Haggerston end of Kingsland Road. Run by two friendly bros this place is all smiles and good service, with everyone eager to please. Listen to guest DJs who spin vinyl beats through Klipschorn freestanding speakers, old skool style.

What’s on offer? Anything you’d be able to pour yourself at a house party apparently. Well, we’re not sure what sort of house parties they’ve been at but we’ll happily down some delicious organic wine or an independently brewed beer. Bartenders are happy to mix drinks with spirits or simple cocktails but don’t go asking for anything with sparks and flames.

The bar's integrity is displayed by it's honest interior and subtle 'Dalston' edge. The DJ stands behind a booth of recycled brick and the dim lit, moon-shaped papier-mâché lanterns that cover the ceilings create the perfect, down-tempo atmosphere. BarChick loved the sushi bar snacks, seaweed anyone? The menu is small and delicious with hot and cold Japanese food available on request.
