The silver bar-top of Davies and Brook might look a bit cold and clinical, but grab a seat front row and start up a convo with the bartenders who know how to bring the double measures of warm hospitality you'd expect from a place like Claridge's.

Don't be put off by the dining room filled with white table cloths and silverware at the back of the room. This place is fancy, and yeah, it has a Michelin-star, but they've shelved the pretence in exchange for bringing the buzz of a relaxed and vibey cocktail bar, so dropping by for an expertly stirred down Old Fashioned and a plate of their next-level fried chicken after a shopping sesh on Oxford Street is always an option.
