After nailing their first venue, The Hide in Bermondsey, we knew this was going to be a banger. Squeezed into a couple of cafés in the city of London it’s a bit of a split personality venue; the top floor, The Arbitrager, has got a modern pub kinda feel and sells London-brewed beers and London-stilled spirits only, while the downstairs, at Demon, Wise & Partners, is where you'll find BarChick hitting the cocktails.

The vibe down here is golden delight and special attention should be made to the caged Bollinger 99 made for the Quantam of Solace movie, this baby's worth big bucks... get p*ssed enough and you suddenly might be able to afford it (or not).

The menu is made up of classics, twists on classics and a couple of specials - called the Demon and Wise, no less. Both are loaded with premium spirits and are that little bit more spenny as a result. There's only a 100 of each recipe and then they're onto the next so get down while you can to give each one a try. Oh and not quite finished your bottle? No biggie, you can lock it away for next time.
