On a quiet street in the rather residential area of Pimlico, Goya stands alone as a place to go get fed n watered. This quaint tapas bar might not be anything ground breaking, preferring to stick to basics rather than rock the boat. But hey this is Pimlico, not Dalston so why expect anything else. It's very simple, very warm, with very Spanish friendly service (say hi to our hero Juan) serving good hearty food (those calves livers...hell yeah) and an extensive selection of wines and sherries. Basically everything you could wish for in a place to spend a lazy afternoon or evening.
If the sun's shining, sit outside and watch the world go by over a few bottles of sherry or, if you're missing the Costa del Sol, a pitcher of Sangria never goes amiss. Pretend you’re in Spain for the day, slow down and park yourself at the bar with a plate of warm food, a few cervezas and enjoy!
