Hawksmoor are some of the biggest meat heads in town, and now after one to many trips to SeaWorld, they want a piece of the fish pie too! Hells yeah boys, who doesn’t like some surf with their turf? Teaming up with the mega seafood chef Mitch Tonks (from The Seahorse and Rockfish restaurants in Dartmouth) Air Street is the biggest project ever. This place is huge with 235 covers in the restaurant and a bar that can cater to an added 50!
They’ve worked with the same interior designers as before so things aren’t be too alien from what we’re used to, so like the other Hawksmoors there are reclaimed materials and a nice comfortable lived in feel.
Steak is still on the menu (how could it not?!), but there’s also a whole load of fish on offer such as turbot, monkfish, John Dory and Dover Sole grilled over charcoal with a huge selection of shellfish, all fresh, directly from the source.
With fish added to the menu, their already extensive wine list has grown and now includes a lot more white. The cocktail list has also had a revamp, with a focus on different times of the day, and a few more original drinks created by Hawksmoor bartenders rather than drinks from the past. Yes boys!
