BARCHICK SAYS

Named after Alexander Graham Bell who invented the telephone and his wife Mabel Gardiner Hubbard, the building that was formerly the BT headquarters is now one of the best places in Holborn. It’s the same guys behind the ever expanding Soho House group and they've sorted a 95 cover restaurant, a café selling raw juices, apple desktops to get your internet on and most importantly a cocktail bar in the corner to go hang out at.

The cocktails rock, and come divided into House Tonics, Shrubs, Sodas and Liquor, nothing too crazy but all have a creative kick. Starving? Hit the restaurant, the food is awesome and has perfect portions for sharing; the spare ribs are super meaty and tasty, the yellow tail is delicious and if you’re into your greens the kale will do for your 5 a day. Just peckish? The bar snacks are banging too.

Come hang here day or night, date or meeting and then hit the hotel upstairs if it all gets a bit too late.
