Los Mochis

Mexico meets Japan at this restaurant with the second-largest agave spirits collection in Europe

Pop quiz: which do you prefer? Sun-kissed Mexican vibes with Margaritas and epic tacos, or the Japanese culinary wizardry of damn fine sushi and kickass sake?

Jokes, we’re not going to make you pick. Instead, we’re gonna let you in on our favourite joint for getting your Pan-Pacific kicks so you don’t have to choose. Welcome to Los Mochis, where you can deep-dive into aho-chipotle edamame followed by insane miso fish tacos then salmon sashimi, with a dulce de leche cheesecake to round it all off. And don't forget the Pink Hot Chilli Paloma cocktail made using Mexican-Japanese spice mix. Did someone say ‘match made in heaven?’

While you’re here, it’d be rude not to get involved in their selection of artisan agave spirits. They’re pretty proud of it, and rightly so - it’s the second-largest collection of tequila and mezcal in Europe. Sheesh. That’s a lot of tasting to get through, so buckle up. Luckily they’ve curated some banging tasting flights, or join them on a Monday evening for their mezcal masterclass. On sunny days the restaurant front opens up to a little terrace and you legit feel like you could be kicking back in one of the classier parts of Cabo. Date night, mate night, stay-out-late night… whichever you’re feeling, Los Mochis has the vibrant vibes that guarantee to leave you with a massive smile on your face.
