There is no stopping these guys and rightly so, who doesn’t love burgers and booze? This time they’ve taken over the old Citroen garage on Upper Street and have gone all industrial with a private dining space suspended in metal cage, a sit-up-at bar that's plugged into huge beer tanks and grimey neon glow paint splashed about the walls.

The cocktail list is wicked with an up, down, hard and fast section; work through them all and finish up with a pickleback cos you probably already smell like gherkins anyway.  Don't neglect the hard shakes cos they take things to another level. 

You're here for the food and no-one ever leaves MeatLiquor disappointed; their burgers are some of the best around.  If you're on your way home from the pub / the queue is long / you don't care eating on the street they've got a takeaway hatch so you can get the goodness to go. The music's loud, the lights low, the crowd rowdy and there's always a kind of party atmosphere in these joints. BarChick loves them.
