The Megaro Bar

BARCHICK SAYS

Nothing beats the madness of King's Cross and that's why we love The Megaro Bar. It's super chilled with sultry Italian vibes. You'll find it tucked in the basement of the boutique Megaro Hotel, just keep an eye out for the neon sign "Dark Room in use" and you know you've arrived.

The theme down here is heavy on photography, so bring your camera loving mate and choose between The Dark Room or The Picture Room. The Picture Room has a 360° panorama of London and sexy booths to get cosy in. The Dark Room has "negatives" hung around, old cinema chairs and a lot of velvet.

Getting down to business with their drinks is a serious matter and could take you all night. Grab one of their geometrical stools, hold tight and drink up... these guys know exactly how to make a good drink. The menu is la dolce vita in a glass - Candy Negroni, anyone? Check their schedule for movie night and order from their bar snacks menu if you're peckish; the Parmiginao Reggiano and Nocellara olives went down a treat. We'll be back, and then some.
