No. Fifty Cheyne is a swanky restaurant and bar that’s ticking all our boxes. Downstairs they’re serving some damn fine food in a dining room that looks like it could be out of Downtown Abbey. Dripping chandeliers, froths of flowers and the kinda heavy curtains you know cost a fortune. But it’s the upstairs nook we’re more interested in - at least until hunger calls.

The Cocktail Bar is a theatrical, salon-style alcove that’s done out in outrageous ruby red. BarChick digs these vaudeville vibes - you’ll find us perched at the marbled bar top on one of those embroidered stools, letting the dapper bar team mix us up a treat with some of their home-infused liquors. For a more elegant evening, trot next door to The Drawing Room. Cream dressers are lined with hardback books, the sofas are padded and squishy, and there’s even a flickering open fireplace. Excuse us if we bring some slippers and get cosy, this isn’t a place you wanna leave in a hurry. Tuck yourself into the velvet couch by the window, order an Espresso Martini, and watch the lights twinkling on Albert Bridge as evening fades. Dreamy.
