When we heard that our favourite New Orleans themed-bar was shutting up shop, we were devastated. Where would be go for our fix of Ramos Gin Fizzes, Hurricanes and Grasshoppers? Well, no fear, ‘cos NOLA is back with a bang. 

They’ve expanded into a sophisticated Louisiana drinking den without losing any of their cheeky flare, you’ll be glad to know. It’s moodier, more intimate and has a kitchen serving up killer Cajun-inspired dishes. Rolling with your crew? The back room, with its large tables, is where you’ll wanna make merry. The cosy front room gives way to the long and polished bar, making the perfect spot for a date. 

Nods to New Orleans are everywhere. We’re talking Mardi Gras beaded necklaces and umbrella-garnished Hurricanes. With a jazz, blues and rock n’ roll soundtrack pumping out in the background and the Sazerac’s flowing, Barchick was feeling like she’d made the nine hour flight and landed in The Big Easy. We're glad to be back.
