Idris Elba isn't just gonna sit around waiting for the casting call for the next Bond film. He's keeping himself v. busy opening his first bar and shop from his wine and Champagne brand Porte Noire that he launched in 2018 with the help of the founder of Connaught Wine Cellars, David Farber.

Porte Noire is gearing up to be a celebration of the brand itself. Farber has curated an extensive menu of exceptional international wines that can be enjoyed through the venue, spanning from a breezy outdoor terrace to a large dining room, and no wine bar worth its grapes can have a menu without a killer selections of artisanal cheeses and charcuteries. Don't know which wine is your jam? This place is about to become home to one of the largest fine wine tasting rooms in London, while in the 70-cover bar the menu will range from some of the best and rarest bottles to a more accessible selection of wines on tap to suit all tastes.
