Glamorous & gorgeous with a killer menu & epic live music - Quaglinos is a feast for the senses.
Hidden down the back streets of Old School Mayfair, not too far from Fortnums, hides one of BarChick’s favourite eat/drink/party places. It’s been famous for decades with the high rollers, and as soon as you step inside you can see why. It's got Art-Deco sexy nailed, with a glimmering bar & the kinda low lighting that makes you want to whisper secrets & start playing footsie (just us?)
Head down the stairs you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a scene from Titanic. Think splendour and uber-glam (tip: dress up). The stage at the front gives a hint as to what you can expect from a night on the Quaglino's tiles - live music is what this place excels at. Whether it's Music Monday, a Friday swing band, Saturday brunch complete with live DJ or Soul Sundays with unlimited bubbles & jazzy tunes, then you'll be wiggling your shoulders at the same rate you're sipping your Champers. The cocktails are just as opulent as the rest of the joint, inspired by different art styles (the Pendant 14 from Cubism for BarChick's vote). Not only that, but the set menu accompanying some of the music nights is a decent way to live the luxury life for a little less.
With a swanky bar, a buzzing restaurant and tons of private dining spaces it's no wonder Quaglinos is still hitting all the right notes.
