After a pimping refurb BarChick's favourite Knightsbridge bar is back baby. Like BarChick, The Blue Bar is discreet and luxurious. A small hotel with stunning restaurants deserves a bar as good as this.
It's still got the hotel bar class it's known for (FYI most of the hookers hang out at the hotel round the corner) but after another lick of that iconic blue paint and a glass extension out to the side - hello private party - it's looking fresh. There's a new Bar Manager too, Rashid Ghuloom, and the cocktails are all executed flawlessly. The new menu is even in on the colour theme; go yellow for Champagne bases, green for something light and red when you wanna get naughty. The wine list is one of the best in London, and as you’d expect there’s more single malts than there are miserable people in Scotland.
Don't forget the snacks, when a bar this sexy does sliders you know they're going to be special. That is if you haven't already got through 3 mini carafes of their free truffled cashews of course. Probably best to avoid the blue bar if you’re saving money for a deposit on a house; it’s a bit of a wallet-buster. So find a sugar-daddy/cougar who can pick up the tab, ship in some Cris and enjoy.
