The Jugged Hare is a very special little hangout. Think you’ve seen taxidermy? Well you have now; hares, herons and even a badger will keep you company over a pint of their pale ale.

They’re big on their beer but will happily shake you up a cocktail, just tell ‘em what you fancy. The restaurant out the back is where the real magic happens. Slide into a red banquette under the vaulted ceiling, meat hooks, train carriage baggage racks and watch the action in the open kitchen.

You’re here to get your game on; eat the signature jugged hare or a three bird roast with all the trimmings… brains, hearts, kidneys, don’t be shy. Sensitive vegans beware, you can kind of see what you're eating with meat on display, so this might not be the place for you. Thanks to their awesome wine dispenser they can dish out fine wines by the glass, go on and drink like a baller.
