The Redchurch Bar

Red is the name of the game in here, with all the oldskool ceiling lights glowing red, weird little paintings on the walls and strange objects here and there. It’s a bit like what you might end up with if you turned your nan’s front room into a brothel... with a lion skin on the ceiling. Good idea, come to think of it.

Inside it’s like a living room with nice booths, a fireplace and a long bench, but work your way through to the back and you’ll find a wicked little bar piled high with bottles of all sorts. There are a few more booths as well, but it’s pretty small in here, so rocking up with twelve mates on a Friday night might not be the best idea. Better for a small team.

They have special cocktails on the board and their menu has a long selection. They also have a lot of the classics in there as well, and if you’ve turned up with a headache, their Bloody Mary section is filled with twists to get you back on your feet. It’s a little bit on the pricey side in here, but hey, they've got Sierra Nevada Pale ale on tap, so it’s money well spent.

Once things get lively, the DJ in the corner starts pumping out the tunes and everyone gets dancing in the little space next to the bar. There was a hip-hop vibe when BarChick was there and everyone was loving it... and with a 3.30am licence on the weekends, you'll love it too.
