When you’re bored of all the swanky Hollywood bars, get on down to Las Perlas, the newest baby of LA bar wizard Cedd Moses. Put a slot in the old school jukebox, get your Latino on and join the cool kids of LA in this dingey Mescal den in Downton.

This place is all traditional-a-Mexico and doesn’t serve up anything north of the border. No vodka, gin or fancy wines can be found here- nowt but tequila and mescal goodness.. and y’all know what that means right? P.a.r.t.y

Add a DJ spinning some decent tunes late in to the night, some hot Mexican barmen, dudes shooting pool, shots of the happy stuff and you’ve got yourself one damn good bar.

The cocktails here (scribbled up on the chalkboard) are for sure worth a go but baby it’s all about the straight up mescal for $5.  You know it’s the right thing to do.
