The Fitzgerald

BARCHICK SAYS

Head through the secret side entrance and up the stairs to The Fitzgerald, named after Scott F of Gatsby fame, to a chic 1920's bar with staff in flapper dresses and guys in waistcoats. You’re going back in time b*tches. Sister venue of Rosylee Tea Rooms, overlooking Stevenson Square in the Northern Quarter, this is the classiest speakeasy in town.

Chill out in this dimly lit sitting room-style bar and check out the sophisticated crystal chandeliers as you kick back and sip Champagne on the glam velvet sofas, they’ve got some proper posh glassware for your fizz too, snaz it up.

It’s a classy watering hole with an epic cocktail menu offering playful twists on classics. Expect candyfloss garnishes and other bizarre takes on some of your faves. If you’re partial to an Aviation, check out the Aviatrix (gin, lemon, cherry liquor and violet) served in a violet laced fog. If you’re there for the night, they also offer a bottle service with your own personal bartender, what a treat.
