Walk down an alley and into an old car park to find this bar, you’re in Melbourne now babes. Don't expect anything classy: it’s all skinny jeans and hoodies here.

Sit on one of the stacked up crates, barrels or old oil drums and grab a beer. Smoking is allowed – you’re not quite outside or inside, being under a foliage-filled plastic canopy with graffiti on the walls.

This place is buzzing: expect noise, fun, excellent people watching and good music, but don’t count on great service… you can’t have it all. Upstairs, the same-owned FurdyDerke is well worth a visit. They serve hot dogs until 5pm weekdays, late on weekends, and Kelly Brothers Cider and Old Mount Pear Scrumpy after that. Score.
