His beautiful and extravagant bar - the original in this ever-growing collection - is shaking up the rather swanky Mayfair bar scene. Head up the industrial looking Bruton Lane and look out for the inviting glow from the windows, the place looks like it’s been here for years. You want the left-hand door, ring the doorbell and enter the 1870s - in fact, you may even feel out of place if you’re not dressed like the immaculate busboy who takes your coat (think 19th-century Gieves & Hawkes uniform).
Set up camp at the beautiful copper bar and admire the antique back bar, but make sure you go and explore. The walls are adorned with pictures of Fogg’s ancestors, animals he has hunted and souvenirs he’s picked up on his travels. There’s so much to discover here that we won't ruin any more surprises, so go and check it out for yourself. Needless to say the cocktails are in a league of their own, with a selection of drinks and ingredients from around the time the book was written. But if they’re all sounding a bit adventurous, then ask the bartender to knock up whatever you fancy, you’re in safe hands.
