This sister venue to Mayfair’s Mr. Fogg’s Residence has steamrolled all over Covent Garden trust us, it's the type of place that’s best seen to be believed. It’s awesome and keeps everyone happy and full of booze.
This place will have you digging those historical vibes immediately. Feeling rowdy? Grab a tankard of grog in the downstairs tavern. Perch at one of the small tables under friendly taxidermy while corseted wenches call bawdy orders across the bar. It’s lively down here to say the least, with a combo of boozing locals and confused tourists.
After a couple of Negronis (they're on tap, along with some epic Old Fashioneds), you’ll be needing some grub. Get involved with their traditional British pub grub, with fish & chips and sausage rolls galore. If you're rolling with the crew, it's all about the punches - all for one, and one for all, as Landlady Fanny Mcgee says.
When BarChick’s had enough of the clashing tankards, you’ll find us hiding out with Aunt Gertrude. Play nice and you should be able to sneak upstairs too where you’ll find Aunt Gertrude’s gin parlour - and this secret bar is filled with enough gin to send you time traveling. It’s a more refined experience with velvet armchairs, settees and a crowd of gin connoisseurs and more serious cocktail drinkers. Aunt Gertrude doesn’t take reservations, but we reckon you’ll manage to charm her... or just say BarChick sent you.
