An absolute must-visit on any trip to NYC. Keith McNally's Parisian bistro style Soho restaurant is large and stunning. With a French menu, bustling bar and an in-house bakery, it will please even the fussiest of eaters. Seats in here are a hot commodity and there's usually a wait to get in, but just go with it. The first time BarChick went Bono was seated at the next table, and last time we went Alec Baldwin was getting busy in the bakery.
Ask for a seat at the Zinc Bar and drink Bellinis and French wine, served by the smartly dressed barkeeps. Order from the well stocked raw bar, or go for brunch and share a bakery basket, carbs smarbs! Despite all the serious French food and mega wine lists going on they don't take themselves too seriously, the brunch menu has a section dedicated to hangover drinks and they serve the hippest coffee in town, Stumptown Roasters. Make sure you ask your waiter about those playing cards stuck to the ceiling, and you’re meant to tip the bathroom attendant!
