A light and airy neighbourhood bar, we like coming here off-peak when we can grab one of the window seats, and watch the West Village parade pass by. While we work through the cocktails, oysters and bar snacks, of course. Cocktails come from Brian Bartels, and are playful, thoughtful and occasionally labour intensive. The Green (Bay) Bloody Mary comes with cucumber water and tomatillo for those chic Chelsea ladies watching their weight yet still wanting a Sunday hit. The rest of the menu has some wonderfully random stuff going on. Just reading the names of the drinks provided us with entertainment.  

The bar snacks are insanely good. Our favourites are the crispy pigs ears, but we’re yet to have a bad dish. Mains are a bit bigger if you want to do the dinner thing. Low key yet sophisticated, this is a great little spot to have on your radar.
