We came for the lobster eggs Benedict – pretty much the pinnacle of indulgence - but we stayed for the cocktails, and then for the happy hour oysters (USD 1.25 a pop) and then it was shots at the bar until 4am. Extra Fancy pretty much have your needs covered.

This New England style seafood shack bridges the gap between laidback Brooklyn bearded scruffiness (they offer draft Bud for USD 4 and have an awesome soundtrack) and the area’s increasingly upmarket crowd with a raw bar of high quality seafood. Just like the looks, the food is casual - think stacks of clam fritters, stuffed lobster rolls and hot pots – and served until 3.30am, when you really need it.
