Oh how we love sniffing out a good speakeasy.  Head down Norfolk Street, follow the lit stairs and enter an alleyway covered in god knows what… don’t worry, you’re nearly there. Up one more flight and finally you’ll see the door - there’s a peep hole if you’re feeling cautionary, but you might as well make like BarChick and swoop straight in.

Welcome to the Back Room, a Victorian decorated parlor, dimly lit with faded floral wallpaper, chandeliers and nudes hanging from the walls. This is The Vampire Diaries season one, only with sicker cocktails. Choose from The Vamp, Dirty Rascal and Hair of The Cat, all of which come served in teacups or paper bags - it takes BarChick back to afternoon tea at Gran’s (or drinking cider in the park). This place is a head f*ck.

If you're bringing a date here then be a gent and meet elsewhere first, the amount of lost chicks trying to find this place is amazing. There’s live music and dancing on Mondays, and look out for the secret room. We’ll give you one tip: find the antique globe.
