Set over two floors, this Italian/Americana style bar is one the quirkiest in Newcastle. Cassette tape style menus take you back to your Wham and NOW days and we’re into it. Show off your skills on the Pinball machine or pump-up the jam with the old jukebox in the corner, rock chick.

Open from 10am everyday through till 2am on the weekend (and midnight weekdays) this is where the cool cats hang out. It’s edgy, so brush up on your Indie film knowledge and maybe invest in some ankle grazers. Listen to rock and Indie tunes and golden oldies like Hall & Oates, you’ll soon feel like Uma in Pulp Fiction.

The bar is heavily manned so you’re likely to get served speedily. Choose the Violet Martini from the cocktail list (it’s written on an LP sleeve, kitsch) and drink it on terrace, the perfect place to kick back, aye champion.
