Cocco chills casually along Portixol’s pretty waterfront and is hands down Palma’s prime spot for daytime drinking. It’s where the city’s cool crowds flock to on a sunny day to wear big shades, hip hats and soak up some rays and alcohol at the same time.
The views from this corner cafe of the sparkly mediterranean sea are simply stunning and trust us this cutesy little fishing village is pretty good for people watching as well. Check out the roller bladers, dog walkers, strolling couples and sweaty-keep-fit enthusiasts puff past while you sip on a cold, crisp glass of verdejo. Cocco’s has the largest terrace in the area and seems to rarely have a seat spare as the laid back bunch that have managed to bag a spot have totally forgotten they had other shi* to do that day.
They serve Italian food from 12.00 till late on the all glass first floor, good stuff like pizza’s, pasta’s, salads, fish and foccacia, all fresh and affordable. So if you arrive here for a pre- lunch spritz Aperol and end up still being there 2 meals and 8 hours later watching the sun set with a long island ice tea in hand, we get it, as this happens to us every time too…
