Le Mary Celeste

BARCHICK SAYS

From the team behind Candeleria, Le Mary Celeste is just a stone’s throw from its older sibling, perfect for bar-hopping. It takes its name from the infamous ghost ship, and once inside you’ll spot subtle nautical touches like the white decked ceiling and the cute ship’s helm cocktail stirrers.

When in season, Le Mary Celeste has a great selection of oysters from around the world, starting at 2.7 euros each. Served with a delicious Thai-style chilli dressing, if oysters aren’t normally your thing these could convert you. The small seasonal plates here, in general, are pretty mind-blowing.

Meet the wonderful Carlos Madriz at the bar's helm (see what we did there). The cocktails are adventurous and delicious, but they also have Brooklyn lager and East India pale ale on tap and a pretty sweet wine list for non-cocktail drinkers. Le Mary Celeste can float our boat anytime.
