The sister restaurant to Old Town's Giallo Rossa, 500 Restaurant follows a similar format with  a vast menu of thin, crispy pizzas, tasty pastas, salads and antipasto dishes. It even follows the same upstairs/downstairs theme... hey if it ain't broke don't fix it!

They've brightened up what used to be a smoky old pub, with copper walls, wooden tables and some original touches like a pummel horse (yee haa) for a seat and old school lockers. The food is decent, salads are inventive and generously sized and the pizzas are crowd pleasers. BarChick’s go-to dish is the Di Angelo pasta, aka number 91, with rocket, pancetta and sundried tomatoes, boom baby. Take a group and sit at the table by the giant window (the one with the pummel horse), or go in summer and park yourself on their sunny patio, good times. They do all the regular favorites here, Mojitos and the like, we hit the wine list though and tucked into some great Italian vino.

Speaking of parking, they've named themselves after the bright yellow Fiat 500 that's been precariously parked over the bar (we assume parked it ran out of fuel). They also deliver, but we're guessing it's in a different vehicle.
