Get totally sloshed at Lapa’s finest cachaça bar with over 100 varieties to choose from. Small, odd looking place in the heart of Rio’s party town, it’s sparsely decorated with a few tables and chairs, some large windows and sh*t loads of bottles.

It’s intimate and the barmen are ancient, but they know their stuff. The weekend crowd mainly hang out on the streets shooting back artisan cachaça and shouting at each other across the faces. The chilled weekday crowd are there to get educated. The best tipple is a brown, thick cachaça called Gabriella scented with cinnamon, it’s sweet and yummy!
