Wicked aperitifs and American classic cocktails make up the 60-strong bar list downstairs at Schumann's. It's namesake, Charles Schumann has a CV that reads like a modern-day celeb; author, model, star of the silver screen. But it's his 20 years rocking out behind the bar that gets our attention. He prefers classic cocktails with few ingredients, and they're all bang on.

Upstairs is Les Fleurs du Mal. This room is on the intimate side. One table, crafted from a single tree. You can take a seat and discuss the drinks with the barman – just like a bespoke tailor, he'll work out the best fit for you. They're heavily influenced by mixology of the Japanese kind and don't shy away from new ideas. Be bold, and wait to see what happens. Exciting stuff.
