Opulence taken to another level, with the world's largest collection of gin. No wonder we love it here.
A shimmering gold 12-meter high fridge. Containing over 1000 bottles of gin. Surrounded by the kind of Art-Deco dazzle that’d make Gatsby lose his sh*t. You can see why Atlas is voted one of the best bars in the world - and is one of BarChick’s faves. There’s no doubt this is a spot for gin enthusiasts - after all, Atlas has the world’s largest collection. We always start with the killer Atlas Martini. London dry gin, Ambrato vermouth, orange bitters and champagne vinegar make for a cocktail that’s definitely not pulling any punches. But hey, neither do we.
Not feeling the gin? There’s plenty of others to choose from, including the smoky and seductive Nude on a Terrace. Venezuelan dark rum, Italian bittersweet liqueur, citrus, agave and red hibiscus. They had us a nude, though. Feeling flash? Order one of the Vintage Martinis, with gin from your favourite decade. If this happens to be the 1920s, NBD, it’ll only cost you about £130. As F. Scott Fitzgerald said - ‘“Here’s to alcohol, the rose coloured glasses of life.” You might need a pair of those glasses after ordering a couple of these babies.
