Café by day, bar by night, this hot hipster hangout is run by Ethan Leslie Leong, a veteran of the Singapore scene. The ground floor space already had a big following for its low key recycled style and excellent food, despite the lack of seating, but then they went and added a cocktail bar to the roof, and we were totally won over.

With a mellow, warm vibe it feels like a sophisticated front room with views over the Sultan Mosque. This is prime date material, though come any time with anyone for the badass cocktails - it’s all fire showmanship and fresh fruit flavours from the guys here. Ethan has been in the game a long time so his staff are well versed in all things craft cocktail. Peckish? They do a wide-ranging brunch in the café (we had the Hangover Omelette of course), and the bar snacks are winning too.
