BARCHICK SAYS

It may look like an office building, but climb two levels and come face to face with a wall of freezers stocked with steak ready for the grilling. Not one for the veggies amongst you, this is like Stockholm's Promised Land for carnivores, with cocktails to boot. Housed in an upscale slaughterhouse space with white tiles and strange artwork, either get a table and go for a feast, or head to the bar where you’re welcome to just drink and nibble.

Although it looks like a deli counter, underneath those checkered shirts are some serious cocktail skills. We grabbed a stool at one of the high communal tables and sipped their barrel aged Boulevardiers. With Campari, bourbon and sweet vermouth, these bad boys are aged in an oak barrel, which is brought direct to your table for you to serve yourself from. The wine list is well thought out too from cheap and drinkable to high end celebratory stuff.

Be sure to grab some of their charcuterie to keep to you stable. It’s all made in-house and is epic.
