This place is Sweden’s answer to The Savoy’s Beaufort Bar. Designed by a Japanese artist and based on the universe of lights, there’s fancy furniture everywhere, mirrors and gold dripping from every corner.

Drinks are expertly made and the most popular is the Strawberry Basil Smash, it’s been on the menu since the bar opened and they’ve sold 32,000 so far. The bar is a separate attraction to the hotel in its own right and tends to get a big crowd – usually a great mix of locals and tourists, if you’re looking for company it’s game on.

Be sure to check out The Lounge next door. Decked out with overstuffed chairs and sofas, it has been dubbed ‘Stockholm’s living room’. It has a ceiling height of almost 30 metres and is seriously impressive.
