Located on the square that housed Sweden’s first pharmacy back in 1575, these guys have a real eye cast out for the small details. Cosy seats, tapestry lined walls and strange and exotic ingredients that you sure as hell aren’t going to find at home.

All of their cocktails are paired with delicious small plates of food - but frankly they’re all mega tasty regardless of what you’re drinking. BarChick went for the Philosopher's Stone, named after the mystical substance told to change metals, cure diseases and grant immortality, with Wild Turkey 81 Bourbon, Cynar, apple, smoked maple syrup and Gold Powder paired with a plate of king crab, blackened avocado and nasturtium flowers.

If drinking powered gold isn’t your thing, have a chat with the charming staff who are beyond knowledgeable. Anders Sandberg, who cut his teeth at Le Bar Rouge, has brought together a team that can be as involved or not, making it ideal if you’re meeting special someone *wink wink* or just rocking up on your own.

Maybe we weren’t quite immortal by the time we left, but we’ll sure be happy to check again next time.
