Just when you thought Venice was a bit 50 years ago.. welcome MQ10 to the Cannaregi scene; it's the old Jewish ghetto where the students, locals and cool kids of Venice are at.
Modern is the name of the game and it’s all fresh, white, and bright lights. With Venice being the art capital of Europe, art and photography exhibitions don the walls. The guy behind the bar mixes up all the usuals but if you just can’t stomach yet another Aperol Spritz then go for one of their infamous fresh fruit mojitos (BarChick goes strawberry). Get down quick as once the fruit is gone, it’s gone. Perfect excuse for an afternoon drink? Yup.
Like most things in this city MQ10 is canal-side so if you can’t get a table out front take a pew on the street and get those feet wet.
Although MQ10 is trying to break the Venetian mould, and stays open ‘til gone midnight, you’ll still find it busiest during apperitivo hour… some traditions you just gotta respect.
