Bartenders
I am from Jesolo, a holiday beach place in the region of Venice in the north eastern part of Italy.
I work in the Eclipse Barcelona, right by the 26th floor of the W Hotel.
In every European city I have been, there is at least a bar where I would go for a nice cocktail or to enjoy the nice atmosphere: in Amsterdam "Door 74", in London the bar with no name in "69 Colebrooke Row", in Milan "Luca e Andrea' s Kitchen", in Barcelona "Boutique bar @ Ohla hotel", in Berlin "Rum Trader", in Rome "Jerry Thomas project", in Venice "Harry's Bar".
My favourite drink, in absolute, is champagne! Especially Laurent Perrier Rose'; in terms of cocktails... a perfectly prepared Bacardi Daiquiri!!!
When I prepared my first drink to Salvatore Calabrese!!!
Nope, never had the chance!
Having my own place.
Worst chat up line: "Is it hot in here or is it you?". B Best chat up line (although I am not amazed by chat up lines, I think they are a bit cheese...): A cool dude, towards a really sexy girl said one time: "What are you doing here by yourself? Bartender, why don' t you prepare her a drink? I'll take her to dance, and if we don't come back, it means it was a success!!!"
A secret to let your guests feel at home? Remeber their names and never lose your smile!!! ;-)
"Carribean Pin-up" A vintage style cocktail, taking as base a Zacapa Old Fashioned, with 2 shots of Zacapa, cinnamon syrup, lots of zests of Orange peel, enriched with cloves, Chocolate Bitters, and stirred with a fat cuban cigar!
Martini cup taken out from the freezer, 3 parts of a it-depends-of-my-mood Gin ( I like to try different ones as long as it is not a perfume-like Gin), 1 part of Vodka ( any premium brand), 1/2 shot of Lillet Blanc, shaken, and a large twist of lemon peel.
Black!!!
