Where are you currently working?

Very happy and proud at the St James Bar at the Sofitel London.

Tell us something about the industry we might not know! 

The industry is changing and soon we will experience cocktails in new ways. I think that cocktails will not just take the form of a liquid but will also be a solid. For example, rather than drinking Negroni, we will be eating the Negroni. There have been many recent developments in the field of neuroscience which bartenders are now applying to the art of cocktail making and playing with their customers’ perceptions.

What is your favourite cocktail?

Sipsmith VJOP Hemingway style Martini with French vermouth and a lemon twist.

Ever had a bad-ass/rock n roll bartending moment?

Doing a double shake in the front of Salvatore Calabrese while working with him. I’ll let you imagine how it end :D

Where will we find you on your nights off?

Having a great time while having a drink with my girlfriend and/or my friends anywhere or distributing food, drinks, clothes and a smile to less fortunate people.

If you weren’t tending bar, what would you be doing?

I dreamed of being a great football player but due to injuries and economic challenges, I was not able to do so. However, I am very happy with I am and doing: I believe I was born for this!

What is your desert island bottle?

Bottomless champagne and unlimited sherry!!!

What is your hangover cure?

Drink quality and drink responsibly.

If you were gonna create a cocktail for BarChick, what would you make?

Well, definitely I need to know your taste, mood, flavour profile in order to shape the drink to your personality!
