I was Head Bartender in Epernay, Manchester, and now work at City Social in Tower 42. I have also worked in Rome.

FAVORITE BARS?

Nightjar in Old Street, London is amazing and I like the Connaught Bar too

FAVOURITE DRINK?

That’s hard… I like White Russian because it’s got a taste of the cold cappuccino (I’m Italian)… and The Big Lebowski drinks it (classic movie)

Bad ass barman/rock n roll moment?

During work, you only get the best – but after work is another matter! There’s this video on youtube where my colleague and I are clearing up and this song comes on – and we do this brilliantly funny dance and then we walk away as if nothing happened! Check it out, it’s a good laugh!

What's next for you?

One day I’m going to have my own bar – I’ve even got the name!... but in the mean time I want to learn more and travel more

Best/worst chat up lines you've heard at a bar?

The best was a funny story; it was on New Year’s Eve. This customer kept chatting me up – and my girlfriend and cousin were helping her (they thought it was brilliant!…) Worst: One time at my bar, this older woman asked me if I could feed her because she had gloves on. My excuse was it wasn’t hygienic. Thankfully!

If you were to make a barchick cocktail, what would you put in it?

I won a trip to the Zubrowka Glamping (thank you Zubrowka!) with my cocktail ‘Picnic in the Park’, which has Zubrowka, egg white, lemon, mixed berries and blueberry jam… served in a nice flute glass with lemon zest and Bison grass

How do you like your Martini?

I like mine dry, with olives

What did you want to be as a kid?

I went to an Aeronautic High School where we learnt about flying and planes (I was going to be a Pilot)… but then alcohol was introduced and I realised I could travel in a more fun way ;)
