WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

I'm from Sunderland

WHERE DO YOU/HAVE YOU WORKED?

I work at the Blind Pig at Social Eating House, I worked for Jason Atherton at Pollen Street Social. Before that I worked in Nottingham at a bar called Brass Monkey.

FAVORITE BARS?

My choice of bars, Happiness Forgets, Hawksmoor Spitalfields, and Air Street, El Camion, Callooh Callay the usual crowd.

FAVOURITE DRINK?

My favourite drink at the moment is a jack rose, but always like to drink manhattans.

Bad ass barman/rock n roll moment?

Having a lock in after working in Nottingham with the bartenders and Vanilla Ice, everybody was doing shots we put Ice Ice Baby on and he rapped the whole thing. Was sureal.

Ever done it on a bar?

I've done it in a bar does that count?

What's next for you?

I don't know continue to work hard and see what happens tend to not look to much into the future

Best/worst chat up lines you've heard at a bar?

Best chat up, after I finish fancy coming back to mine for a pizza and a fuck,to which the girl looks shocked you say what you don't like pizza? Worst, my friend Ross Painter once drew a trophy on a white napkin and in big letters saying winner please turn over, which he then put a creepy face on as the other side said the girl I'm going to wank over tonight.

Tell us a secret or something we don't know?

A secret, well once when I got to world class UK final a couple of years ago I entered a drink in the wrong section. It was meant to be with don Julio and then put it through with zacapa, in the heat I had to make up everything about the drink and name and how I came up with it. Still won so I guess I was a convincing liar.

If you were to make a barchick cocktail, what would you put in it?

I would make BarChick a twist on a daiquiri, Havana blanco, fresh lime, homemade falenum yogurt powder and egg white. Call it a probiotic, the yogurt powder is my favourite ingredient right now and love using it.

How do you like your Martini?

My martini, I like it as a gibson, not too dry so 6-1 gin vermouth ratio with picked onions

What did you want to be as a kid?

A fireman
