Where are you currently working?

 I’ve recently gone freelance after finishing up as Head of Operations for Mr Lyan. If anyone needs advice on making their menu work better for them, give me a call!

What is your favourite cocktail? 

A Manhattan, always sweet! Plus the double orange + cherry garnish please.

Ever had a bad-ass/rock n roll bartending moment? 

Any time we get to have uber-unique experiences in the name of education is pretty bad-ass! Moments like tasting Louis XIII out of the barrel, serving cocktails at 35,000 ft, being served crazy-expensive champagne at the top of skyscrapers or drinking cocktails on board wooden tall-ships always make me feel pretty lucky! We don’t often reflect on just how unique these moments are.  

Where will be find you on your nights off?

Normally at the pub, drinking Guinness or fancy Chardonnay! If not I’ll most likely be hanging out with my dog (Cooper) and awesome girlfriend (Jade) in a forest or something. 

If you weren’t tending bar, what would you be doing?

Something that helps to bring joy to small, often mundane moments in people’s lives. If my work helps people smile a little more, that’s a big win for me.

What is your hangover cure?

A Bacon & Egg “doubler” plus a very brisk walk/run with the dog.
